Summary of Addicted Written by Zane
Honestly, the trailer is the best review of the book I can give you. Consider this written summary as paraphrasing. Before I get started, let me provide a bit of information about the movie. Lionsgate took up the project, and the film is scheduled to be released on the 10th of October 2014. The Director is Bille Woodruff, and as you guess, the film is in the drama genre.
The book Addicted written by the Queen of Erotica, Zane (Kristina Robert) tells the story of a Zoe, an African-American woman who life eventually becomes uncontrollable due to addictions, mostly to intercourse. When Addicted starts, Zoe is married to her high school sweetheart and together they began raising a family complete with three children. But then she discovers she has a problem.
She sought out therapy for her sex addiction with a trusted therapist; she confesses her story which is plagued with mentally unhealthy desires and guilt. Zoe has been with more than one other partners; which includes but is not limited to a painter whom she spends countless hours with engaged in bedridden activities, to the complete opposite, a violent, rugged man who aids her depression. Her desires are very hazardous and pull her deeper into a dark place. Zoe’s time is limited; she must find out why these uncontrollable desires consume her thoughts and actions. Throughout the novel, even more, secrets are revealed from feelings she thought were locked away in her mind. With these now on the table, the book reaches its peak! What will her husband think when he finds out? Will she go crazy? Or Furthermore, will she survive – what does Zane have in store for us?
