The Odyssey relates the story of Odysseus’ journey after the Trojan War. He encounters many foes, trials, and legendary Temptations, on his way back to his wife. Including but not limited to the man-eating, one-eyed Cyclops; the Laestrygonian giants; the beguiling Sirens; the souls of the dead in Hades and the treacherous Scylla and Charybdis. Prevalent themes in the are love, adventure, pleasures, and food, but also the mortal danger. All of which entice us to delve even further into the story of Odysseus.

Robert Fitzgerald’s translation of Homer’s Odyssey has sold well over two million copies and is also available on Amazon. This edition features a map, a Glossary of Names and Places and Fitzgerald’s Postscript.
